The on-board Video Camera feature can be used by the operator as both an alignment tool and as a monitor of the cutting process.
The image is conveniently displayed on the 15" TFT color screen of the Global Control Plus.
- To use the video camera for plate alignment, the operator activates the plate alignment routine and selects a plate corner and one or more points along two perpendicular plate edges using the crosshairs on the Global Control Plus screen. Once the necessary points are identified, the entire part program is automatically offset (rotated) to the actual plate radial position.
- This feature simplifies set-up, reduces cycle time and eliminates scrap.
This feature is especially useful for monitoring the process operation on machines that are very wide and/or long, allowing the operator to get a “bird's-eye” view of the cutting process without leaving the operator panel. It simplifies set-up, reduces cycle time and eliminates scrap, increasing cutting productivity.
Available on TMC4500ST, MPC2000, Titan II and Metal Master Plus machine models.
