The Laser Pointer allows the operator to physically identify the edge or other feature of the plate with a known location on the cutting machine. Available on all MG machines.

• To use the Laser Pointer for plate alignment, the operator activates the plate alignment routine and selects a plate corner and one or more points along two perpendicular plate edges. Once the necessary points are identified, the entire part program is automatically rotated to the actual plate radial position
  
• This feature simplifies set-up, reduces cycle time and eliminates scrap
